It was as I feared, a further 13 GBP in shipping costs. Why should companies change on a signed agreement? LR Freelander2 2,2 Td4 HSE manuel Stornaway Grey (Metallic) & Ebony Black Leather & Sun/Moon-roof & Bi-Xenon & Roof Rails & Tow bar & Body side rubbing strips & Cold climate pack & Privacy glass & NavTeq . Production Date: 11/5-2007 in Halewood. Sorry, but I have changed to Defender 90 ", and I love my" tractor ". http://www.youtube.com/bjartin |

I opted for a set of Spikes-Spiders in the end (same as LR rebranded/repriced traction devices) but at a much more reasonable price. I haven't needed to use them in earnest yet but have done a trial fit and chain adjustment so that all is ready if required.

Am I missing something, but why do you need snowchains in the UK? I went up and down this 1 in 6 gradient hill yesterday (Walbury Hill) on hard packed snow/ice with no problems, HDC worked a treat on the way down... standard tyres with about 6 or 7mm of tread!

If there'd been dry stone walls either side would you have attempted it? |
