I believe there is a lot of similarity with certain Volvo models. Why not try a Volvo independent?

Other than connecting to a dealer level diagnostics to check temperature, there doesn't seem to be any mention of special tools on Topix

Looking at the pdf it seems to be the same process as with the TD4 auto box. If so, that is only a partial ATF change. The box holds 7 litres. A drain as per the pdf will change about 3 litres only. If so, the operation needs to be carried out at least 3 times, preferably 4, to maximise dilution of the original ATF.

Thanks all. I've managed to track down an automatic gearbox specialist nearby so have booked in for it to be done. Have also booked in with AJS for the rest of the service so will see if I can find out more when I'm there about the difference. |
