Cruise control stopped working

Hi
I have a 2011 HSE TD4, cruise control has been working fine since I got it however this last couple of weeks when I switch it on from the steering wheel nothing happens. I've tried at different speeds but no success. I've recently had it serviced and I've also fitted a new battery and wonder if it could be something to do with that. I've checked the handbook but it's not clear where the fuse for the CC is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Andrew

Watching... I have this problem with my 2007 also. "We're in danger, we've got to get out."
"What are you talking about?"
"I've been called a ponce."

There is also a switch linked to the brake which may also need checking - in other vehicles that I have had this switch is prone to faults causing the CC not to activate.

Some one might know if the CC fails does it leaving a diagnostic message on the ECU which would help ?

Thanks all for your help.
I'll have a look and see how easy it is get to and check the brake switch and have a look at the wires on the steering wheel. If no luck I will take it in for a diagnostic check and hopefully that might pick up the problem.

Thanks

Andrew
