Land Rover and North Yorkshire (as well as Cumbria, I hate to say) are made for Land Rovers.

Nothing quite so good for the sole than driving the small 'b' roads and getting that feeling of 'one-ness', knowing that you are in each other's perfect environment.  FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

I am off in the morning for 5 days in Dent, only paid £150 for a cottage, its adequate, spent a week there in May, the trip from Durham is a belter the way I go.

Head from here to Middleton in Teesdale then take the B6276 to Brough, a fantastic road, then out of Brough take the A685 to Kirkby Stephen. After Fish and Chips there, out the back end of Kirkby and down the A683 to Sedbergh another great road, then on to Dent, hoping its not too hot for me weather wise
