Rear door wiring harness sleeve

Noticed yesterday when I sat in the rear that the sleeve where the wiring is ran through gets closed in the actual doors. I tried to prevent this from happening buy pushing it further back but if just reverted to the sandwiched position where it's been sitting for god knows how long. The rear seats have only been used a few times so it may have been like this from new. Even though the cabling is protected it should never close in the doors.
