Pull off the passengers side floor console extension and see if you can reach in and unplug the 3-wire control plug from the heater unit. The fuse may be soldered in place as looking at the diagram it's rated at 100 amps

One little tip...when they've done the recall work, check that the power socket (probably can't say cigarette lighter socket these days, and I'm not sure they can be used for that anyway!) between the seats still works. (The one that's almost in the back, rather than the one near the gearstick).
When I bought my previous FL2 it didn't work and the dealer had just done the recall work before I bought it - they knew exactly what was wrong when I said so and told me it happened a fair bit: when the work was done it was easy to disconnect that socket accidentally in the process.

Cheers Stuart n Dannij. According to handbook. It's a 100amp fuse in the main fuse box in engine bay. It's a spanner job to remove. Removed it last night after work

Pulling this old thread from the archives:

Our '07 model did the smoke blowing thing a few weeks ago whilst on holiday.

I pulled the 100 amp fuse and continued our journey.

Today I visited my local dealer whom said the recall was done in 2009 already and Land Rover South Africa will not do it a second time. What was interresting was that the listed part to replace is the aircon drain tube.

I smelt a destinctive electrical burn smell, thus some thing has already burned.

2 Questions:

1. Has/would LRUK replaced the same part twice under recall?
2. What is the function of the PTC? My aircon and heater is still working 100%.
