for your information i emailed him this morning after i was given his name... as of yet no reply, and what is wrong with a straight forward question of yes or no which is what i have asked... why are you trying to complicate things?? |

because 90% of the people on here may say that the haldex has a direct impact on the rear diff (as far im concerned its part of the transmission line components and from past experience front diff PTU/HALDEX/rear diff are linked and one can affect the other)

thank you rogb, yes i understand the forum, this is why i posted in the technical area hoping there may have been a mechanic on board such as austen, i do understand the law from the New Consumer rights act 2015 section 24 sub section 5 to the Credit company acts under section 75 for breach of contract and the right to refuse for a full refund after the first attempt at repair has failed, i shall wait to see if austen replies,

well whatever the problem is I wish you luck with it, been there myself with a Discovery gearbox issue a few years ago and more recently with an accident damaged 'LR Approved' Evoque.

Wizard....I had no end of similar problems with my FL2 but luckily for me it was a company car and I wasn't privy to the what are believe were less than harmonious discussions between the main dealer and the leasing company my employer use. It was in and out of the main dealers more times than a rabbit down a ferret hole (as they say in these parts) I no longer have the vehicle, just the lovely oil patches on my drive from the vent tube via the rear bumper casing. It is also the reason sadly why I didn't chose LR for my new vehicle.

The Haldex vent on mine became blocked last year due, I think, to driving most days on forest tracks.
