In my opinion it is courageous and deserved retribution for a heinous crime against the civilian population of Syria. driving on the right side

I'm still not convinced that the gas attack was by the Assad regime. What if the the missile attack was using conventional munitions which just happened to hit a stockpile of chemicals. From what I've seen it appears that the "independent" verification that it was Assads forces which dropped the chemicals are based on reports from Turkish forces in the area, and they will have reasons for trying to get other nations dragged in. Whilst it is probable who did it, it is by no means conclusive and getting involved seems a bit premature by the Americans. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

To be fair to the Americans, they were late coming into the last two world wars so perhaps they are making up for it now. Rolling Eyes Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I wonder if the Russians are having second thoughts about electing Trump now?

I am inclined to think the theory of the russians wasn't so unlikely at all. Remember Assad had his chemical weapons distroyed at sea some years ago. The reaction we now have seen is 100% predictable. Not so many days ago Trump stated he didn't mind Assad to stay on.... For me 1+1=2 , or very likely to equal 2 . Either the resistance fighters against Assad were storing chemical weapons and this was hit, or even they deployed them on their own, knowing this would be there last hope getting any support from anyone against Assad Evil or Very Mad . Given the general thought about martyrs in Islam... Just think about it. Both alternatives are possible and the last one likely to me as well.

Assad was/is killing his opponents. But under his regime all faiths could live together in peace. Under IS and also the present group, only Islam is supported. Do we really know who we support against Assad ? Shocked

We only get to hear in the news what the ones at the buttons want us to know. There is no more free press anywhere I believe. Censored

I can only think of the 'weapons of mass distruction' , which were never found in Iraq. Banging Head [ Freelander 2 TD4e MY10 Sport manual. SVR badge engineered ] SOLD

The air over Syria is probably one of the most congested areas in the world for intelligence gathering, you no longer need to be on the ground to detect any form of attack and analyse the type of attack without ground reports of on the spot witnesses, lying or truthful. Intelligence gathering has come a long way since cameras and listening to radio/phone calls, it can almost tell what grade of diesel or petrol is being used in vehicles, a scan of the internet will tell you what detection pods can be carried in various surveillance aircraft and their capabilities. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

did they all live in peace under Assad before the troubles? I doubt it, Like Saddam he 'kept' the peace by brutal 'policing'

but never having been anywhere close to these countries Im not so sure about either of those facts. At work
