You just need to silicone or glue the rubber back in place, that will stop the knocking, quite a common issue |

Nice to have a cheap easy fix, some people have used something called tiger glue looks a bit like silicone to me but I've never used it. |

It's sound like there's some in boot when ya go over bumps .do ya need to glue it so it stop at the bottom ? |

Check the location of the other side, I would assume it's bottom. The noise sounds like a dull thud when you go over a bumpy section |

Basically, the rubber attached to the shock shouldn't move or twist, it looks like yours is sliding up and down judging by the clean section you can see in the photo, once this has been fixed in place the noise should go |

Is it just me or does the shock in the top picture look knackered? Looks like it has an oil leak. That'll be causing a knock, surely? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Need to take wheel off for a look when I get time .looks like a defo leak from somewhere .why does the rubber move up and down and not solid like otherside that must be a sign |
