Hi all, well after just over 2 weeks into FL2 ownership with my 13 plate XS SD4 with 38,000 miles I have the Gearbox Fault - Traction Reduced warning already - disappointing that I have an issue so soon but glad I bought LR approved used.
LR assist came out to check yesterday evening and confirmed it is the haldex module/unit so I am now booked in with a main dealer (not the one bought from) for Thursday.

It's an awful feeling when it happens, I'm glad you're getting it sorted FOC, still a pain in the arse though. Every time I jump in the car I'm waiting for it to fail again!!! Or some other fault come up, I've never worried about a car failing so much in my life it's ridiculous!!! FREELANDER 1 55 plate XS TD4 Had for 7yrs now sold 😢

Thanks MSD1518, a bit frustrating that it's happened so soon but that's why I went for one with an approved warranty, peace of mind.
Was fixed last Thursday, I'm told that the Haldex Pump was replaced and that seems to have cured it for now.
The vehicle given as courtesy car was fun, a 16 plate Defender Utility wagon - not driven a Puma Defender properly before and enjoyed it.

How cool is that!!!! My courtesy car was a Volvo thing... I bought mine from a Volvo main dealer but they shipped it over the road to Pentland Land Rover. A fkin VOLVO car.... now I'm jealous you got a proper toy!!!  FREELANDER 1 55 plate XS TD4 Had for 7yrs now sold 😢
