You or I don't know how those that didn't vote would have voted, I suspect that a lot of remain supporters didn't vote because they were arogrant enough to think the public wouldn't be stupid enough to vote leave.

Those that didn't vote must be counted as the "don't cares" so support neither the Remainers or Brexiters, a majority is just that, they got the most votes. Referendums that change the status quo should be biased towards the existing condition due to the "tomorrow effect" and minds change when it all goes tits up.

Cameron for being so scared of UKIP he called the referendum in the first place
That's not the point, someone above implied that if the vote had gone the other way, the leavers would just have accepted it without a fight.
As I have already said, why should I? |

If May had her way, that's what the UK would have. Thankfully there are independent courts to ensure she can't.
1930's Germany was exactly the opposite of that, the will of the majority imposed, to devastating effect, on the few. |

Reading this thread I can understand how the referendum voted to leave, the 'exiteers' have no idea what the Supreme court ruling is about and probably had no idea of the consequences other than immigration being top of their list when they voted.

I have just one major concern about Brexit and that is that I might not be able to get my car cleaned quickly and cheaply. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Thread locked - this has yet again degenerated into name calling and bickering. Not acceptable. |
