Andy I'd add to your list the official LR Dealers and Service Centers in our part of CH as the "shower" that did the first annual service last November forgot to reset the service indicator. This led to a recent event where an "Oil Change" advisory message appeared on the dash info screen. Incompetent or just inattentive to detail - who really knows - possibly both are in play here. |

Oil Service Reset is a little different to the normal service reset (at least in my MY11).

I have carried out the re-set procedure for both DIST and DATE and it appeared to work fine. However when I now start the car each time it doesn't show on the dash like it used to. Can someone remind me if it only displays when it gets close or overdue or should it be displaying it every time the car starts, even if 364 days until the service? |

If you have reset the service message, it will not appear again until 11 months time |
