Or my mate buys the mixed stuff as his half-tracks run nicely on mixed fuels, something to do with anticipated fuel shortages in wartime Europe At work |

Re the last few replies, great info, exactly what I would expect, that is the mixture of diesel/petrol WILL find another use. It will NOT be poured down the drain, which is what the MPD folks are implying .... as I said the MPD claims are .... lets just say a little unrealistic ... Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor |

Sad to say I have mis-fueled my previous 05 Freelander and trust me it was avery easy mistake. The garage is about 300 yards from my house and I use it a lot for fuel but I still managed to put in unleaded. I was lucky when I went to pay the girl at the desk said petrol and I said no deisel that was when she informed me that I had fueled up with petrol. |
