I have dealt with Team Valley LR on a couple of occasions, 15k service and the recall (still never got a call/letter from my main dealer).

Guy Salmon have recently completed first service on our i6; £300 which included a 20% discount. Apart from the fact that, although they cleaned the car inside and out very well, they did not bother cleaning the roof, the overall experience has been very good with them. They have also had it back for two pieces of guarantee work: a new front screen (as a heating element had gone) and a replacement B-pillar from where the seatbelt had worn the plastic. |

I was quoted £369 for the first service, said I could get it done cheaper else where and without any hesitation the guy I was speaking to on the end of the phone said he could match it… I said I had been quoted £275 – he dropped to £270… wish I had said £240 now!

Can't happen. European law dictates all manufacturers have to use a standardised set of codes refered to as J1979 or sometimes EOBD, thats why most garage diagnostic readers are universal, including the ones used by the stealers. 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky TT Quattro, black. Ers. AC Cobra rep in build. Ars. |

Stevea which dealer was that. I will give them a ring when my service is due You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape. |

All the prices that have been quoted on this thread (from the UK) are presumably including oil

Stevea - That sounds very reasonable compared to the prices we have to pay here in Norway. The oil price alone here came to ca. £168
