I always change everything out on a new car, irrespective of service history, can never be too sure. I take it they just do a fluid change on the Haldex (looks like a fairly simple job)? Don't intend to do any silly modifications anyway. |

When it comes to mods and fettling keep it simple to start with, I just did a few simple things like LED footwell and mirror lights, mudflaps, door rubbing strips etc. I've had the windows tinted and I aim to add a tail gate spolier in the new year. I'll do a remap from 150 to 200 bhp at some point and change the exhaust for a stainless one.

It really does depend on the mileage, service regime, and driving style.

Hi, just to introduce myself. I bought an old 2007 Freelander 2 a few months back and have been reading the forum so thought I had better join. Although the milage is a bit high 121,000 it runs really well and I am pleased with the car.
