Was there a year or so ago and you need all the kit on the normal roads as they drive like nutters. |

you might be right, but I am very eager to try the anti-stalling system on my freelander. it seems to be quite good on the road (managed to climb a very steep road at a constant 6kph) but no idea how it would do when the going gets rough. |

Yes 100 % right. But don't forget to put it back on road. And when it is very steep, put the TR on sand or M&R.

side tubes are really only cosmetic, they will save the odd scrape or two but will probably get seriously dinted and bent them selves they are only thin steel At work |

what about the front sump guard? My freelander already has a steel engine under cover, i do not think a sump guard would be beneficial? I am talking about something like this: http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/land-rove...rd-07.html thanks Mark |

sump guard is stronger, it just the LR side tubes are more of a fashion thing, mounts are not substantial and the tubes easily bend or dint they will guard the car somewhat At work |
