The heated seat module is under the seat for both driver and passenger and

Thanks Stuartc, was hoping it would be easy but should have known better, there isn't an actual problem with it, all heated seats I've come across work the same way, would just had liked the backs to stay on

The seat base heater mat has the thermistor in it so if you disconnect the plug I don't think anything will work as the LIN would most likely detect a fault and not activate the seat heater module.

There is different level settings in the ccf so maybe if you go to your nearest dealer they may change the ccf settings to a cooler setting! MY15
