Had and engine warning light come on, used an OBD to determine the problem, easy done, just the Mass Air Filter sensor showing as faulty. After looking into it a little more and removing the sensor which is easy I pulled the supply lead and I find that vermin have chewed totally through the feeder cables. I can not seem to locate where the other end of the cable originates, does anyone have a like freelander that one can send me a photo or explain where it goes to?

As per the photot the cables have been "chewed" off and severed. So I need to establish where they originate from.........

Don't make an easy job difficult. Just cut out the damaged section and re join, inserting some similar spec cable to make up the length. Solder all joints and wrap with good insulating tape. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

i think the OP is saying the cables are severed the other end has moved from an obvious position and they can't see them. |

I see... It means that on the original picture, there is a wire loop that ends with the sensor, right?
