Can I/should I drive it??

OK. I've done a search and read my handbook.

I'd just like an opinion, please.

The amber warning symbol/message has come up. Gearbox Fault Reduced Traction. I can see that others have had the same.

Car booked indoor diagnosis/work on Thursday.

Can I/should I be driving it? Am I making things worse if I do.

Regards.

RR

It could be something as simple as a failed sensor.
The "warning" does say reduced traction, so for my money, carry on.

If it says STOP then do not carry on.

I probably wouldn't want to serious off-roading, as you might be limited to two wheel drive, and towing a caravan to the south of France would probably not be a good idea. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Drive it, Amber is a warning, I would carry on driving it. If you have a Red light that's when you shouldn't drive it.

My money is on you have a Haldex problem, may just be bad connection with a bit of luck. My car had this when I test drove it, the dealer told me that they had to replace a module/circuit board ? they were a bit vauge about it, but it was fixed prior to me collecting the car.
