Send SWMBO out to do it, seriously though, we only got another month of it, so you should have a couple of months to sort it ready for next winter. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well. |

Heated windscreen = best thing ever (well I exaggerate a bit, perhaps)

The screen thing is okay, but nothing more than than. It still takes time to defrost. Likewise the headlight washers and the heated jets. doesnt mean they dont freeze.

The heated screen washers are not that great on FL2 in my opinion. when the freeze really bites they remain Frozen.

Hi All Mrs has a 2009 GS, the windscreen has headed elements in visible but doesn't seem to be heated. I've looked in the relay box and there seems to be one heated windsow relay missing and one heated window fuse missing.

Heated washer jets are not that fantastic. Not sure if the rear screen gets one in my cold climate pack but it certainly did not work yesterday until the outside temp was back above freezing. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Retrofitting heated seats is not too hard. We've done it in Stuarts 15MY FL2. I have a complete kit sitting in the corner of my office to go into the 08MY one as well... The tricky part is the programming to make it work, but we've figured it out now.

Heated windshield in the L359 is really easy but as Cambo said, unless your windshield has been changed, to one with the elements, it's really expensive.

Do you have access to the plugs with the windscreen in place though? I mean is it possible to confirm that the screen is plugged in, or plug it in if the installer didn't? 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers
