You could.

Both the horns are fitted to a bracket that places them inside the front "bumper" proper - ie inside the steel box section.
When mine died (filled with mud) I went to the trouble of stripping off the front of the car, working on the principle that it was part of the alarm system.

So if the car was nicked and I had messed with the alarm system, then no insurance.
But then again the insurance company would have to have recovered the car, found the replacement horns and proved it was me that had fitted them Shocked Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

ANDY sorry your reply has not told me something I already know and I did not want to have the
grief of removing the front dynamic bumper on my own so I just want to know where the wires were
for the horns as I cant see any, suppose it would be wise to get a workshop manual but which one ?
