Roof bars- difference - sunroof / non sunroof ??

Hello

Just purchased a 2007 FL2 HSE with twin sunroofs. It is already fitted with roof rails with the single cross brace. I need to buy some cross bars but am reading that there is a difference in the roof bar system for sunroof / non sunroof vehicles - does anyone know the difference and is this referring to the roof rails bolted to the car or the crossbars ? I'd like to buy crossbars secondhand but wanted to make sure I'm getting the right thing !

Thanks !

The cross bars will go on either car. It is just the rails that are specific to metal or glass roof.

The underside of the fixed cross rail on sunroof equipped cars has a small aerofoil to prevent wind buffeting, the height is the same for both models.
The removable cross bars are the same, although experiment with positions as the wind noise can be altered quite dramatically depending on there location.
