Brute force, there is a thread on here but the search seems to be borked?

Thanks Taz, yes my search function was coming up with a error message earlier. But as I was on GPRS I thought the problem was on my end.

I found the thread using Google search, it just use thumbs on each end of the ring and push off, I seem to remember doing this with gardening gloves on as the ends are sharp.

Spoke to Dan this morning. The retaining ring is part of the bulb and not available separately from LR MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I ordered new lamps last year and the ring did not come with the lamp, it must be part of the whole headlamp assembly |

Well today with help of this thread and Taz I have successfully managed to change my D3S xenon bulbs. It is far easier to remove the retaining ring when it is in the locked position.

Well I've never updated this thread. Really pleased with my xenon headlights. I'll never go back to halogens they are like candle power and I must have spent a fortune of replacement HB3 bulbs. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
