I wasn't too convinced until I watched the video. It looks good, some the toys seem a bit over the top, think I'll need to see one in the flesh before I decide if I like it!

On that vid, the Disco 3 looks the best out of them all (for its time). FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

I hated the D3 looked like a transit van with arches on it. D4 was nice very nearly bought a brand new run out Landmark! For me the D2 disco was the business. However if the new defender is the spit of the D3 I'd buy one

I'll look at the pictures The problem with the new one is my current entry level SE sits between the S and SE. The thing that puts me off the S is it comes with halogen headlights no other option. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

The laser headlights won't be cheap to retrofit if it can be done. Halogens will be very poor. If you do a lot of night time driving or like up here the short days come winter, I would not want to pay that much for a car with halogens.

Halogen headlights when other manufactures are going LED as standard, Land Rover have driven up the brand and are now simply ripping people off. |

I knew the top cars had LED, so I was expecting the base to at least have xenon as an option. Anyway looking at an SE 3.0, it's only£1.5k more than the 2.0.

LR are taking the with some of these options that should be standard on a premium car . Heated steering wheel is an option but ambient lighting is standard, what would I rather have warm hands or stupid lights around the cabin on a winters day .. more bling than practicality. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |
