DIY jack ?

Hi, new here & would like to do some home maintenance on my Freelander, what DIY trolley jack would you recommend that has a high enough lift for a Freelander ? Thanks

I always lift from the sides, just inside the sill at the designated lifting points, position No 1 in the image.

This may be obvious, but just in case, do NOT rely solely on a trolley jack (or really any type of jack).

Always use jack stands, and if possible, even better a combination of jack stands and wheel supports or ramps. Only use the trolley jack for lifting and lowering of the vehicle. If you are under the vehicle, always have a main support, and a back up.

Tonnage is nobody's friend. 2008 3.2L I6 Auto

Do any of these jacks have a shaped block to fit in jacking holes in car body ? I would like a new jack that lifts high enough to get under the car, not just change a wheel or brake pads. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

just use two set's of car ramps I have, it will give you plenty of room to get under.
