As ever, my contract is up as the new model arrives as opposed to the S model. Now, I currently have a 64GB 6 Plus in white. The recycling scheme offers £247 but examples are on eBay for £300+.

6 plus? That was that big ol' girlie phone you bought wasn't it? Seriously, £350 might be a bit too much especially as there's been a 6S plus and as you say, the 7 is due soon. Could always put it on and accept offers.

Do you think the new one will actually offer you anything worth paying high contract prices for? Instead of swapping for a new phone and contract, drop down to aim only and spend the savings on car stuff FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

The contract prices didn't go up when I changed from the 5 to the 6 and I just cashed in my old phone to a member on here! Providing there are good deals available, I will go with the new phone and cash in the old one. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Yeah they don't go up, but they can come down massively if you keep your current phone. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

I've always been sim only. Both mine and my wife's phone bills never exceed £15 for the pair. I always buy mine outright, unlocked, from the Apple Store, write them off against my business and pass my old ones on to family or friends. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I was having similar thoughts myself about a new iPhone 7 and the value of my current 6, I checked it out here -
