I had a problem with mine yesterday where it wouldn't start, it eventually did but it was very rough when running and black smoke occasionally. It would also loose power when driving, for a second then pick back up again. Took it to an indy and they diagnosed it as the throttle body was shot. Could be the same with yours? |

Just had the car throw a U0300 code. Just looking into it, the car had a new throttle body 2months ago (not saying it isn't the problem).

Might be a part of the problem - as I understand it the system checks for EGR function and adjusts settings accordingly - AFAIK you can't just blank off the EGR on the FL2 (dependant on year can't see what year/model you own) - there are loads of posts about trying to blank EGR might be worth a read. Car is a 2008 model without DPF. The EGR blanking was removed just prior to getting the fault.

Then I'd go for the throttle body suggestion - again quite few posts on here about it
