I agree today's race was not the most engaging. Apart from the start to turn 2 and then Palmer's pit stop and later spin it was a bit of a procession. Even Vettel and Alonso (for different reasons) admitted they were bored!! The rules re the pit crew instructing the driver seem to be nonsense - Button was penalised trying to get his brakes sorted ffs!

Agreed the rules around what a driver can be told and where is just daft. These days its very much a team effort so why cant the pit crew radio the driver that a component is failing etc and needs to alter his driving style. Jules |

You are right, there are more overtakes in the first 3 corners of a Superbike race than in the whole season of Formula One. The popularity of Formula One is universal as most people can drive a car. Bike racing generally tends to be popular with people who have ridden or do ride bikes . In this country most people would struggle to name a top bike racer , and struggle even more to name a current UK rider in Moto GP. How different that is from Spain and Italy.

I have all but given up on F1 as it's so predictable now. I just watch Q3 qualifying and 90% of the time it will give you the final race placing. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

The Hungoraring Circuit is always a bit of a boring race, nature of the circuit. Ecclestone should retire and Jean Todt should follow him, the restricted radio rules are his idea.

The racing is a bit boring but the aggro between Hamilton and Rosberg looks set to get interesting.

F1 isn't boring, it isn't nearly interesting enough to be boring.

I only watch the first lap of a race to watch the crashes - rest of the race is boring.
