Electrical "fault" Help Please!

FL2 2011 model year.

Battery is draining, can be fine for a few months them goes flat quickly, something on the car is drawing power even when turned off/parked/locked.

This has now happened several times over several months, last time there was just enough power left to unlock the car, took the battery out and replaced with original battery (I bought a new one a while back as I thought it was a battery problem), checked draw with everything off and it was around 1.8AMP, started to pull fuses to isolate the area and draw dropped to virtually nothing before I got anywhere.

The battery I took out was seriously flat. Something is eating power, I don't know if this is a faulty part/module or simply a short somewhere.

Nothing shows on diagnostics, and main dealer suggests they will just pull fuses at £130+ vat an hour, which is great as its intermittent!?!

Anyone experienced this, or offer any advise on areas to look/check first?

Cheers

Unfortunately you are not alone - owners in the US tried a class action against JLR because so many have suffered the parasitic battery drain that you are experiencing - there's loads on Google about it for example:
