All the "experts" in the pre-mortem (the waffle before the match) confidently predicted a walkover for England, therefore putting the mokkers on England and ensuring an Iceland win. In my inexpert view Iceland played the better game. England appear to put most of their effort into attack leaving a weak defence but Iceland put most of their effort into defence, and this paid off for them. Basically, as far as I can see the best team won. Congratulations to Iceland.

What is annoying is that all teams have a national anthem except England. All other European countries including Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have a national anthem but for England matches there is only God save Mrs Windsor (aka the Queen) which has nothing to do with England or the UK as clearly it is about Mrs Windsor who is an unelected so called head of state and a total negation of democracy.

Yes & it will be another 50 years before we win another competition if we carry on playing like we did last night, bloody embarissing
