Hi Jatko I intend to do chip tunning on my 2.2 TD4-auto. What is your tunning - ECU software update or add-on chip? Please share positive and negative effects! Your car is auto....how does it cope with the extra power and torque? I have chosen http://www.dieseltuning.co.uk/ All real time impressions will be welcomed! |

I have used an add on box on both my Freelanders, both from the same company. There is a marked increase in acceleration which is handy for overtaking. It does not increase the top speed of the vehicle. I ususally only drop to 4th or 5th gear for overtaking. You also get an extra 3 -4 mpg. The web address of the company I bought mine from: http://www.dieselchiptuning.com

Hi npinks! I actually did contact them.... But they do remap....but i was told that add on device is better, since you could uninstall it when visit the dealers... and the remap is more expensive than an add-on unit (this is so strange...i should be vice versa) |

Hi YF This company was recomended to me by the LR dealer in Germany. Unfortunately their tuning makes the warranty void, too. And the price is 3 time higher than the others and achieving 50% lower figures... I saw a test report for their tuning but i would say my German is not as good as my English, alas |
