I keep an eye on local prices and my view is that FL2's in dealers are generally over priced given that they are out of production, there is a 64 plate Metropolis in Yeovil that has been on the forecourt for several months at nearly £30k and I am sure that prices have generally gone up since I bought my last one two years ago.

I understand that a similar thing happened with the Ford Cortina in the early 80's when nobody wanted a Sierra 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

I suppose seeming they include a 2 year approved warranty this bumps up the price, mind i would rather buy from a dealer these days and have 2 years warranty. The one I'm looking at is a late 14 plate with 16k miles at 28,595.

They are keeping good value at the moment. I bought my metropolis for £32k in Dec 14 as an ex dem with 1500 miles. I recently part exchanged it to the same dealer 16 months old with 12,000 miles and they have it on the forecourt asking £32.5 k for it.

Well if all goes well i pick my Metropolis up on friday! they need to machine polish out a hedge scratch on the n/s and sort out a slight curb mark on one of the alloys (OCD)
