My mechanic has consistently moaned about the oil filter being in a diabolically hard to get at place. Better him than me doing the moaning. I usually have to wait most of the day for him to do it. |

I wish! Don't know why it's gone, TBH Still doing the mobile work, but cutting back a little after getting a new workshop. It's difficult to get out on the road when this is a typical day

I've been a mechanic for over 40 years and I found it one of the hardest filters to change. Then I bit the bullet and bought that 27mm flexible ratchet spanner everyone was talking about and (once the lower engine cover is removed) it's a 5 minute job. Quite👍 (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.
