Despite owning my TD4 Auto for well over a year, I attempted to use cruise control for the very first time this week ...... setting it at 70mph. It didnt work at all.

I think you have to turn it on first (light comes on) then press the set or + button. 07 Freelander 2 TD4SE Tambora Flame, side steps, privacy glass, mud flaps, boot liner and a tow bar. Ok it's the Wifes but she lets me drive it occasionally - if I've been good! |

Mine seems to require an extra press or two of the buttons as if the buttons arn't quite working. The channel up/down button on the wheel is similar At work

i think it is less about speed and more about revs, i often have to change from sixth to fifth to get it to set |

In my Auto just one press of the set button and it is done and it maintains the set speed when shifting up or down.

I have the same on mine - the first press of channel up or down will make the radio display flash but not change the station. Any subsequent presses work as expected. This happens every time. Anyone else have this? I wondered if I'd missed a reason for this in the manual somewhere, but it seemed odd behaviour anyway. |
