Bluetooth hands free recommendations

As I've gone back to a car from the dark ages (2008 Laughing ) before integrated bluetooth, I have been considering a hands free kit. The Golf has a facility to adapt to bluetooth through the car audio system but from looking online, the list of parts required is similar to what is required to build a Saturn V rocket.

I have spotted one of these. Any thoughts on it or those from another brand? https://www.amazon.co.uk/PARROT-MINIKIT-Ne...+bluetooth

I have used several types of aftermarket integrates kits and factory kits and generally, I find the clip on devices like the one you suggest to be pretty much as good for general call functions, particularly if you factor in the hastle of fitting an integrated one.

I have Bluetooth built into mine but I also use a clip on for my other phone. The clip on May even be a bit better in terms of sound quality. FL2 HSE Lux 2011 SD4 Gallway Green.

I would suggest this one Parrot CK3100 with the correct loom it cuts out the radio and uses the car speakers, you don't need a great deal of skill to fit it, depending how you can access the rear of the radio depends on the time to fit, . Fitted one in the OH's Micra CC six years ago, well worth it. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I had the parrot CK3200 fitted to my last FL2 and it worked a treat. small removable screen to display caller and other phone info, and it has multiple inputs for streaming/charging ipods, phones etc.

I used to Bluetooth stream music through it, it was connected inline to the stereo harness so cut the stereo with incoming/outgoing calls, with simple stereo sound through the car speakers
