As I've gone back to a car from the dark ages (2008 ) before integrated bluetooth, I have been considering a hands free kit. The Golf has a facility to adapt to bluetooth through the car audio system but from looking online, the list of parts required is similar to what is required to build a Saturn V rocket.

I would suggest this one Parrot CK3100 with the correct loom it cuts out the radio and uses the car speakers, you don't need a great deal of skill to fit it, depending how you can access the rear of the radio depends on the time to fit, . Fitted one in the OH's Micra CC six years ago, well worth it. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I had the parrot CK3200 fitted to my last FL2 and it worked a treat. small removable screen to display caller and other phone info, and it has multiple inputs for streaming/charging ipods, phones etc.
