looks like a great price for a one owner car - even with the basic S specification, and just out of manufactures 3yr std warranty

I dont see it ever have been in a flood - it would be CAT C/D then - even IF they could get the electrics to work afterwards - which is very doubtful

Your best bet if you're unsure is to get an AA vehicle check done.

I work in the Agrochemical sector and our field staffs cars look exactly like that! The interior dust comes from driving up and down field tracks in the summer and off their clothes/boots. It gets everywhere and wouldn't worry me. The surface mud on the underside probably came from driving along wet tracks and not necessarily from crossing muddy fields. A couple of farmers near to where I live run FL2's. They even use them to pull livestock trailers. Is there an independent Land Rover dealer nearby you can take it to? I've asked garages to take cars to be inspected before and usually they are happy to help. My FL2 was regularly driven up and down farm tracks without any problems-that is what they were designed to do. |

Regardless of submerged or not, the FL2 reliability record is not that great so together with the bad treatment it got from previous owner i will never recommend buying this car. |
