United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

whats wrong with pay at the pump? atleast for now until everyone has a googelish appily wallet instead of a credit card

what gets my goat is people who choose the pay at pump 'aisle' then saunter off into the shop to buy crap and pay at the till
Imagine sat behind someone seeing he is fiddling around paying by app, oh well atleast he will be quick once hiss phone fires up, worth the wait,.......hang on now the greedy pig is going into the shop to buy doritos and fake sausage rolls Banging Head

Same sort of people who drive around the windy Yorkshire dales roads with those stupid towing mirrors on their car but the caravan isnt there, probably stuck up to the axles in a field somewhere,

Thats just so they can annoy the oncoming traffic as well as those behind. At work
At home

In France you fill up then move off and park outside the shop and pay, or in a supermarket pay at the pay booth. Much better idea. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Thats the best description of an Evoque - Ever Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Though to be fair, it is a very capable vehicle, and if it wasnt for the total lack of rear space
it would have made my short list as I really wanted a car with the excellent Magnaride system
As soon as its available for the DS.........

"Phone fires up"? Bleedin' hell CG, what type of phone are you using? If yours is taking time 'firing up' you might need to trim the wick and top it up with a drop of paraffin! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Thought you were talking about the hydraulic suspension system on the original Citroen DS for a minute. I had that on a company Citroen XM in the 90's. Brilliant adaptive suspension system and if you wanted to drive across a field you just raised the whole car up with a slider control by the gear stick. You could even change a wheel without a jack using a house brick. Still used on Rolls Royce I believe. Funny how some of these innovations never become mainstream. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Who are all these busy people - oh they are the ones who spend their lives texting all and sundry about nothing. I see them in Waitrose each Saturday with a cup of free coffee in one hand and a mobile in the other looking quite perplexed trying to negotiate their trolley whilst talking to Samantha about what to have for dinner. Rolling Eyes MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

I always find it strange when people refer to the Evoque as the Range Rover, I referred to my one as the Evoque. The Evoque isn't a bad car just not a Range Rover in the true sense. Range Rover Evoque yes, the Range Rover no, he needs to learn proper Range Rover etiquette Laughing

Hopefully next year I can get a used one. I'm not greedy a Vogue 3.0 TDV6 will do. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Read my post! It was said as a tongue-in-cheek reply to the Doctor (Putting the V-Power nitro+ fuel in the RR but not in the Golf because he had asked me about the different quality fuels in another post when he had just bought a diesel Golf).

Anyway, of course its a RR - just look at the price of them. It was either the desirable Evoque with its pretty frock, cutting edge, up to the minute modern design and superb, magneride road holding capabilities or a same-year top of the range box on wheels, sorry, Freelander for half the price! Why use one word when ten will do?

Anyway, this is a thread about a new Shell fill up and go app. Not how much better the Evoque is compared to the boxy (sp) FL2 - everyone is beginning to realise that now anyway judging by the sheer number of FL2 defectors swarming on to the Evoque forums. Reminds me of this scene in the Mummy!

back on topic.........

I just started the registration process, and it only links to your paypal account
I need it to link to a specific card on my paypal account ( business card ), and not select credit balance or other cards etc for payment
I couldnt force it to work this way, so sadly it isnt for me.

Shame really -though I guess its a paypal limitation

Will stick to using the card in the pump.
