You just need to remove one side panel from the right side of the console. There is a small screw, after you remove pull the panel off. Inside you will see a black tube which connects to a metal pipe. Squeeze the pipe a few times all along it to remove any blockage and you should see water dripping from under the car. Do this when the car has cooled down or it will be hot to touch. |

Has anybody got any photos showing the pipe behind the centre console/footwell I should be looking for and exactly where it exits the vehicle?

Ok I'm about to get under and find this thing. The instant opaque windscreen at 60mph is becoming a tad annoying. Nice dog Lord biscuit. FL2 SD4 HSE lux auto

Thanks. That's my Dill. She's now coming up to 12 years old! Anyhow, I see nobody has yet responded to my request for photos showing the exact location of this water drip... I had a look underneath mine, but am struggling to figure out where this drip should be coming from and which tubes/hole to be clearing out... "We're in danger, we've got to get out." "What are you talking about?" "I've been called a ponce." |

I would try using a long wire or other thin tool from under the car to clear the blockage before I do anything inside the cab. Might just be mud/road debris near the outlet. Changing the pollen filter regularly might help keep the AC system clear of lint, dust, etc. |

I used a can of the "aircon bomb" this week as the car was getting very "wet dog" on startup.

It might also be worth when changing the pollen filter, to buy some pollen filter housing cleaner, we use it at BMW during services, you can get it anywhere. P/N 83192180509 |
