I put them on the roof. 4 roof mounted cycle carriers fit on roof bars. Nice and easy, as long as you've got very long arms!

Hi yes I could buy a new post but I think a second hand tow bar unit unit off ebay would be better value as the maxraxx is a pain to fit and Im not sure the tension straps would lock on top of the rear tailgate.

I hvae the maxxraxx premier http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel4...ure%60KaWb the aux straps have large red tubes on the end, so i hang that part in the boot, thread it up over the top of the boot lid, and under the spoiler, then thread the other end into the buckle clip and tighten enough to pull the slack out of the boot so the tubes secure and the fixing wouldnt jump apart Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Ok thanks, looks like it might be possible to reuse the one I have, I will look to see if I can find a second hand one on ebay.

Can't remember what mine is, but its solid as hell when on the move. It tilts when then bikes are strapped on to give access into the boot.
