The auto box is made by Aisin, owned by Toyota. I guess you have Toyota dealers in OZ? 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

The best thing is to find out the oil spec and buy a similar one from a different brand |

A stack of manufactures are using the same transmission. Maybe just phone up & ask Mobile as that seems to be the brand the mechanics are using here. My mechanic has only changed the oil at this stage. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

My reason for raising this question is that a site search does not bring up Nippon AW-1 so either this is specific to Australia which I doubt or no one has looked into changing the transmission oil in post 2012 transmissions.

MY13 onwards have a "neutral selection" status which disengaged drive at standstill and coasting aswell as added features "Gradient Release Control" and "EPB". Electronics and oil specifications changed at this point. MY15

Thanks Stuart that clears that up, there is defiantly a difference in boxes post 2012, am left wondering about the consequences of putting 3309 oil in these new boxes specially if you do a partial change as I am considering. |

There's a part number listed so you can purchase it from your LR parts department. MY15
