I bought a very good hard-sided and cornered leather wallet for it plus a screen protector. Unfortunately that didn't protect it from being dropped from the top of a ladder onto my drive or when it fell out of my pocket into the road while riding a motorcycle and being run over! My old iPhone 5 was easier to hold and fit in the pocket which is why I'm going back to one. Not really bothered about resale value in two years time because they are written off through business expenses and usually given away to my kids or my friends. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I have no problem with Apple stuff - easy to use, boots up fast, never gets a virus, all link together. I use the phone, email, TomTom app, Calender, music player, tv, security camera viewer, it links perfectly with either of my Bluetooth helmets when I'm riding my bike, the hands free in my car and my telly at home. It's just that this iPhone 6 is such a slippery, awkward, bastard to hold and that's been the root of all my troubles so it's gotta go. I did like the larger screen and better camera though. Doh! Had to buy a brand new one. Just the phone, no charger or earphones etc - £229 plus my old one. I knew I would need a new one the minute I took it out of the case and laid it flat on the counter - the casing was rocking and bent and it was also bulging out by the volume buttons so they probably wouldn't have been able to put a screen on it anyway and to tell the truth, I didn't even bother asking. I'm surprised it continued working for a week after falling from my pocket while on a motorcycle and being run over by a car or two. So, iPhone 6 number three. I've got my daughter sniffing around to swap it with her (my old one) iPhone 5 but guess what - she's cracked the screen on that and wants me to get it replaced! Kids! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

No, no, no! It wasn't like that. I went into the bog at work for a pee, closed the door and freak of freaks, as I turned round, my hand hit the pocket of my fleece and knocked the bleedin' thing out of my pocket and straight down the toilet! As said, some lazy git had been in before me, had a pee and not flushed the toilet. I suppose I was lucky they just had a pee! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I have never bought a phone, I used to have phones supplied by my employer and then when I retired I started getting my daughter's cast offs . I currently have a 4S and looking forward to an iPhone 5 in September when she upgrades next. Still got a Nokia 6310 in the drawer too. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

At the end of the day it's only a phone. Could be worse - I could be driving round in a Discovery Sport which is neither 'Discovery' or 'Sport'! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto Present: Audi A3 S Line. |
