I'm not sure if its any help but I've fitted LR066378 to the Metropolis Winter set and they worked straight away.

You need to enter the new TPMS valve identification numbers into the CCF.
There is a service diagnostic session specifically for valve sensor indentification and calibration.

Dealer and appropriate diagnostic equipment that you can purchase. Pic was just a shot of the diagnostic session for "TPMS Sensor Identification". I've printed off so that I have a copy of Valve Sensor Codes.

4. How many hours work did they charge you for doing it for your spare?
2 visits to LR, 2 diagnostic sessions on SDD, no charge! MY15

My UK Land Rover Dealer (Guy Salmon) quoted me 1/2 hour labour at £65 + 20% tax per diagnostic session. Considering I've bought 2 new cars from them and one nearly new in 22 months I thought they could have offered to do it for free!

It's really quick, less than 10 minutes.
The screen will tell them the codes for the current running wheels and whether the spare is registered.
It's not a diagnostic session it a std "job" listed under "TPMS Identification". The only other listing for this system is "TPMS Calibration". MY15

Been busy with all the usual challenges of the new year but recently returned to the issue of trying to get TPMS working on my Metropolis with my two extra sets of wheels (don't give me a hard time over having two sets of spare wheels folks...it is just where I ended up for a variety of reasons!)

• 19 inch standard set (TPMS works fine even after the wheels are removed, left off the car for months, swapped around randomly and then refitted)
• 18 inch with winter tyres (I had this spare set already before I bought the car) I may go without TPMS on these and put up with a flashing light for 4 months of the year
• 17 inch with all season tyres (as a more comfortable alternative to the standard 19 inch wheels/tyres)) - I want to get TMPS working on these at least

The following sums up the information I have so far

• LR058023 sensors are wrong part number for MY15 UK Freelander (purchased second hand, emitted 433MHz signal but not compatible)
• Programmable cloning using i-sensor does not work on MY15 FL2 (at time of writing but I'm sure i-sensor will update their product in future to cover more car types)
• LR066378 is the right part number* for MY15 UK FL2 (applies both to all models whether fitted with 32PSI 18 inch wheels/tyres or 35PSI 19 inch wheels/tyres)
• LR066378 purchased direct from LR at £55+VAT are no more expensive than programmable copy part i-sensors (from £50 to £75 locally here in Bristol) and a lot cheaper than a TMPS sensor for a Hyundai (£110)

* Info from what you told me (Gav) and from Guy Salmon Stratford (Guy Salmon Bristol very vague on this so I sought advice from elsewhere)

So my concern now is, when I get a set of LR066378 sensors and fit them to my 18 inch or 17 inch 32PSI tyres how do I tell my car that 32PSI is now the correct pressure and not the 35PSI from the 19 inch alloys?

One experiment I could do is refit my 19 inch wheels/tyres, lower the pressure from 35 PSI to 32 PSI all round and see if the car a) notices or b) adjusts

Guy Salmon Stratford say it is something I can change as an owner using the menu system on my car but I can't find this anywhere.

I think it must be settable only by the dealer using the CCF file that Stuart told me all about. But since my local dealer is vague about it and Guy Salmon Stratford think I should be able to change it, I'm worried that even LR dealers don't completely know what they are doing on this!

Help or suggestions please before I fork out £55+VAT x 4 plus some garage labour time.

I don't think that this needs dealer or CCF intervention at all. I had LR sensors fitted to my winter wheels by a local tyre place and each time I swap the wheels the car recognises them and monitors them. I know this because I have no error messages and have had low pressures in individual wheels of both sets at one time or another which have activated the tpms warning system. I never had any dealer or CCF input into this.

Thanks Martin, that is useful information in a number of ways, but, may I ask, are you swapping between one set of 19 inch Tyres and another set of 19 inch tyres?

(If you are, then the 'correct' pressure your system is looking for would be staying the same at 35PSI. In my case I would be swapping from 19 inch tyres with a correct pressure of 35PSI to 17 or 18 inch tyres with a correct pressure of 32 PSI) gj100

yes what Wireworld said. Fit the LR066378 and when you swap the wheels make sure that it's at least 15 mins
between when you switched the ignition off with the old wheels and when you switch it back on again again with the new wheels. This ensures that the system will accept the new sensors.

Interesting, I just spoke with Harwoods Tonbridge parts service, and they confirmed that LR058023 is the correct part for the DS, though the part number changed to LR066378 - so its one and the same item
