Having lost my old Nexus 5 I've put the insurance money towards an iPhone 6s.

Interesting. I assume you have no control over the device in terms of skipping tracks etc other than the device itself?

I use siri and the hey siri command. "Hey siri, skip this track"

Will need to look into it further I think. I mostly use streaming apps like Napster or Spotify, playing downloaded tracks while in the car. I don't think either of those apps use DNLA so it may not work for me. The specs of that box doesn't mention Bluetooth support. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Yeah, thats another issue. Seems like there's no cost effective and perfect solution. If I come into any decent amount of cash I want to put a proper Pioneer head in mine. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

For those who may be in a familiar situation as me, wanting to use an app like Spotify/Napster/Google Play on Android which won't work as these aren't DNLA compatible, you could always replace the Neet with a Chromecast Audio... Does the same job. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Molesholme - what is the adapter for that you linked to? I have a 2011 Alpine (non premium) head unit so not sure if I need it. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

The adaptor provides RCA connectors at the rear for AUX In rather than having to use the jack in the console. |

Re. the Chromecast Audio I very nearly bought one of those (currently on special at Currys for £14) but it doesn't look like they play nicely with Apple. |

I hope so. I'm 3,000 miles away from it until Thursday next week but it looks as though it just daisy chains through one of the existing connectors at the back. |
