Lots of offers on net below your LR dealer price. This is the sort of item that a dealer would not stock as a mater of course and in my time in the trade would buy in from a motor factors. Don't go too cheap or off spec as you get what you pay for. |

Did a bit of fishing on other threads. Ordered this online. Looks like the right one as I believe 110 fit as well as 096. https://www.tayna.co.uk/Exide-110-AGM-Car-...P8200.html |

Fitted an Exide 110 AGM from Tayna (as link) yesterday, arrived in less than 24 hours, leaving it till the weekend to reset module but looks OK. |

I need to do this soon. What does 'resetting the module' mean? |

Owners handbook says you have to get a dealer to reset the battery module but leaving it alone for 48 hours or so it seems to sort itself out. |

Yeah I heard this might be the case unless your swapping 'like for like'. So if I understand correctly, to reset the module you just hook up the battery as normal. Then leave for 48 hrs without starting the ignition? |

Other posts report stop/start working straight off (mine didn't work before) but as I have a company van I don't need to use it till the weekend so not yet checked if this is now working. Did have to reset the clock though and may have to do the windows. |

Ok got it. I'm expecting delivery tomorrow so will fit it as soon as it comes. I'll attempt to start it straight away and post the results. |

You need to reset if you use a different type of battery (ie not agr). Can't see why you'd need to reset otherwise. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Attached the battery today. Easy job and no need to reset anything except the clock. Car started straight away. |

Theres a module that measures the voltage of the battery for the stop start function. The garage can reset the module so the stop start starts working straight away OR the module will calibrate itself, this can take upto 48 hours. When I changed my battery it started working straight away. Bear in mind that with the current cold weather etc the car will need to be warm and the outside temperature above 4 degrees for the stop start to work.
