Yes, but how long does it take to resolve?
Until one of the parties 'owns up', or is proved to be a fault, we are pawns, right now, we are pawns.

My geologist son, who has spent several years in Africa, claims to know a few people with Toyota Landcruisers with over 200k on the clock and few problems although one guy was complaining about having to replace some of his front suspension at 240k. He has just sent some pictures from a project he is on in the Chilean Andes and the only vehicles they are using are Mitsubishi and Toyota. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

When I first got my FL2 (and came to this forum) 2 years ago there was a lot of (justified, IMHO) wailing about the rear diff. It seems that since that time LR have actually helped quite a few out with the cost of repairs so maybe we should cut them some slack?

FWIW, my rear diff went at about 35k miles Laughing

Had no problems with my local LR Dealer when my diff went petetong just mentioned that it was well documented on forums and being a member had heard that LR would make a contribution - don't ask don't get is my motto Thumbs Up

My first diff was replaced at 70k kms under warranty. The second diff seems to be still ok at 245k kms so they must have made some improvement in the part. Toyota D4D injectors need replacing around every 100k kms....my car would be on its 3rd set by now. Not a cheap exercise.

my MY10 rear diff was replaced under warranty at less than a year old (long before I got it) touch wood its still going ok at nearly 6 years old and 60k more on it so im guessing they changed something internally with replacement units

according to LR it was replaced. I have no supporting documentation, just what I was told by my local dealer over the phone before I bought the FL2 from Marshall Jaguar in December.

Just curious as my MY10 failed at 35k and LR repaired it. Just wondered how hopeful I should be Whistle
