If they are new bolts they will have a lock compound on the threads already.

Cheers bob. Do they normally come with the front pads as well? Not sure if I want to be taking the carrier off if I can't reuse the old bolts

I have always used genuine LR parts and there have never been new bolts in the package although the manual says "always fit new bolts". In practice, I have always used a threadlock like Loctite on the original bolts. Never had a problem on 2 Freelanders, 2 full sets of pads/discs. Loctite always worked on the aircraft I used to maintain......

Cheers will invest in some. The rear pads have bolts and the clips coming with them. Will have to wait and see if they actually do. Just let me know if any of your aircraft go down.

Just taken delivery of my parts to do the rear brakes

I went for genuine:
Brembo Discs (part no 08.9913.10)
Brembo Pads (part no. P44 016) - includes new bolts and springs

UPDATE - Despite what it says on the Brembo parts catalogue the part numbers above ARE INCORRECT for 2013MY with EPB
When I got it dismantled and ready to fit the new parts it was obvious that the shoes were wrong and also the disc profile was different to the OE ones (see pics) so back to the parts Dept they go

The new discs are obviously the disc/drum type with manual handbrake. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Might be obvious to you but it's bloody annoying when a major supplier can't get their catalogue right!!

Must the replacement disc for the rear be identical to the OEM?
The reason I am asking is that Brembo and PAGID are supplying similar discs which have a different profile to those I will be taking off (see pics below - before I put the wrong thing on the car can anyone advise please??

The one on the right looks like the one for handbrake shoes (I mentioned this in your other thread). However, the part number you gave earlier goes from 2006 - 2015. I think you may find that the new disc you have may for both versions - some manufacturers do this for economic reasons, but the OE one you have for EPB will not for on an earlier model. Only way to find out is to carefully have a trial fit. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

From what I have found, most motor factors / suppliers quote the incorrect pads for the MY2013 and later with EPB. Seem to remember the MINTEX application I downloaded was incorrect as well. Eventually got my rear pads (PAGID) from Euro Carparts. Gone:
2002 FL1 TD4 GS Zambezi Silver
2007 FL2 TD4 GS Izmir Blue

I agree - I am now confident (measured and re-measured) that I now have the correct PAGID pads (also from EuroParts) part no 101591268 list price £75.55 - I paid £24.93

Anyone else got any info on the difference between the disc profiles? I will probably do the change over on Thursday any/all info welcome
