United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Sumatra Black
2013 Service Indicator

Hi I have been looking how to remove the service indicator on the dash and have found plenty of threads telling you how to remove it for a FL2 pre-2013 facelift.

I have a 2013 model which has a single screen in the centre of the dash, I have had it serviced but when i start it, I get the message "Service Required". Is this something that can be set by myself or does it have to be done via a garage?

Thank you

I'm sure there was a thread on here within the last week talking about the 2013 service reset, there was a youtube video posted of the Evoque method and it didn't work. And then someone else posted a procedure, something about holding both the brake and the accelerator to the floor...

Can't for the life of me find it now... 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

Thank you Turboextreme.

I guess then, as mine is a 62 plate (December 2012), 2013 facelift model the reset will not work. I will give it a go anyway, just in case.
