Fitted new dash cam to front (RAC05), and the old one (0801) to rear. Wired them both to the rear cargo area socket.

Went to Parkwood Offroad Centre in Tong. Had a brilliant 2 hours driving the Centre's Discovery.They even let me go round the easier route in my own car.What an experience! What a brilliant car the Freelander is. Love it even more now. Very Happy

Got a lead to run my ipod from aux.
Loaded up 6 CD's.
Tuned in the stations for MW, FM & DAB.
Connected my phone via bluetooth.
Set all the tone and balance controlls to suit my listening.

Bought a few valeting items.

Tomorrow I will aquiant myself with the sat nav controls LR Freelander 2 2014 metropolis SD4 auto in Loire Blue.
LR Freelander 2 2011 facelift HSE SD4 auto in Firenze Red + Premium pack & cold weather pack (affectionately known as Eve) Sadly written off in an RTA Insurance write off December 2022😢.
Vauxhall Astra 67 plate
Subaru Impreza 2008 (Sold 2016)

Also got a seat cover to use when wearing dirty clothes and one of them universal phone mounts that go on the windscreen but the jury is out on whether I will use that or not.

Went to 3 shops just to get a simple rubber mat for the drivers floor but no joy !

Birthday treat from the missus, had a run up to Harrogate today. Breakfast in betty's tea rooms, the queue outside when we left was unbelievable Shocked , must have been at least 40 people waiting to get in. Had a look around Harrogate then stopped at the Bull at Broughton for a lovely meal. Chauffeured home with the heated seats on and a belly full of Yorkshire's finest ale! Weekend up in the lake district to look forward to also. Well spoiled this year! Very Happy

The Bull .. Very nice

Mine has stayed put today, vacuumed in between hail showers, full clean inside with Gliptone leather cleaner, looks and smells like new again Thumbs Up
