Scotland 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Narvik Black
Bluetooth Console Info

I have the normal connection problems with my Nokia 6300 but I have noticed that although I do get a signal strength indicator on my display I do not get the providers name, eg Orange, O2 etc

Dealer says this is normal. But they gave me an identical model FL2 as a courtesy car and it showed the details. Dealer said this should not be the case and would do a software upgrade. Still no provider shown but was told that must be the norm. Strange that the courtesy car had an abnormal "extra"?

What do other users see?

are you saying the FL2 radio screen says Orange, o2 etc

or the phone it self Question

Mine just shows the phones name on the radio, and everything else is the same on the phone apart from a little bluetooth headset in the top corner (Sony K850i) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Me thinks a trip to the dealer is on the cards. I agree with the other guys, my car only displays the phone's name and nothing else. I don't know if I'm the only one who has problems with the dial out button only displaying the last ten calls when it feels likes it??? Most of the time it only displays 'Please Wait.........'. Really anoying and you have to go through the whole phone book to find the name you want or manually type in the number. Also when scrolling through the phone book, somethimes it drops out and goes back to 'A'. For some reason it wont even let me select the first letter of the person I want to phone!!! Typical compatability propaganda!

In my case the phone is the same - Nokia 6301 and the 2 different FL2s provided different indications.

My work's duty phone is indicated exactly the same as mine - in my FL2 and the courtesy one.

Bluetooth data is controlled by software/firmaware that I have been told was updated on my FL2 - obvioulsy not.

Seems the expression - £30k, prestige car and disgraceful support just gets repeated in most forums! 07 RRS Java Black
